About Linda Bleck
Linda graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign –Urbana in 1987 with a degree in Graphic Design. Linda’s illustrations have won numerous awards. Her diverse work can be seen in a wide variety of publications and print applications. Her projects include children’s books, packaging, signage, logos, editorial and corporate projects. Clients include Sterling Publishing, Simon and Schuster, Dutton Publishing, Target, Business Week, Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Yves Veggie Cuisine and Microsoft.
Linda finds her inspiration from childhood experiences and memories.
Growing up in a large artistic family, she has fond memories of drawing with her eight siblings on
old blueprint paper that her architect father brought home from work and rolled out on the kitchen table.

build things!" Bleck admits. In her younger years, she grew up on her grandparents' tree orchard in northern Illinois. It allowed her to explore nature and see the many wondrous things in the woods. Her mother Virginia, a Hallmark illustrator, had a profound influence, teaching her the fundamentals of drawing, color and light. Linda now lives with her husband and two children in southern Wisconsin.
